It comes with a base to install in case where you are going to put a previous bulb does not have.

This camera was super easy to set up and it's honestly a fair price. I set it up outside to view between my cars because kids would mess around there all the time. I put an 8gb micro SD card for storage which so far works nicely for what I need it for.
