I use it as a rear view for my camper trailer, I use it in standard definition for it to work properly. It took me a bit time to link the phone to it with out wifi, but it was possible, just had to turn off the mobil data on my phone and it worked.

In order to use the camera continuously without needing to charge it every time, you can keep it plugged in. This will ensure that you have a continuous power supply and do not need to worry about the battery life.
